We assist either plaintiffs or defendants with free legal aid services in a broad range of civil legal issues that would go before the Small Claims Court:
- Debt collection
- Contract disputes
- Wrongful dismissal from a job
- Consumer protection, e.g. illegal sales pressure
- Enforcement of housing orders for money in Small Claims Court
We will investigate your issues, research the relevant law and provide you with our legal opinion about how best to deal with the concerns you have. If appropriate, we will take action on your behalf before the Small Claims Court.
We do not deal with personal injury matters, or any issue where the value exceeds $25,000. For both of those matters, please contact the Law Society referral service.
